Objetive

The Recovery and Reform of the Electricity Sector project aims to increase the production capacity of electricity on the islands of Santiago and São Vicente, and to support the reduction of losses and the operational and financial performance of Electra.

Description

This project is in line with the strategy that a secure and sustainable energy sector, in particular the electricity subsector, is fundamental to the achievement of the Economic Transformation Agenda. This, bearing in mind that energy is one of the important vectors in any sustained development strategy, and its availability in quantity and quality is one of the main drivers of economic development.
