The Human Capital Project aims to improve access to basic services and labor market relevant training in Cabo Verde.
Description
This project aimed to achieve this goal and improve human capital outcomes, and as a tool of the Government of Cabo Verde will support it in three outcome areas: ensuring that all school-age youth acquire skills relevant to labor market needs; ensuring that investments in vocational training lead to greater employability, and to support women and youth from poor and vulnerable households and improve their access to basic services (including productive inclusion interventions, training, childcare, water, and sanitation).
In this context, the Government of Cabo Verde has negotiated with the International Development Association (IDA) of the World Bank Group its financing for a total amount of USD 26 million (twenty-six million US dollars).
