The Improving Connectivity and Urban Infrastructure in Cabo Verde Project will improve access to climate-resilient transport and urban infrastructure for project areas in Cabo Verde. Through its five components, the project aims to improve the resilience of urban and community infrastructures, enhancing transport connectivity and resilience, as well as providing technical assistance to strengthen transport management capacity.

This project will support sustainable development, poverty reduction and territorial inequalities in Cabo Verde, through integrated investments in transport and urban infrastructure in specific areas in the country. The project will improve infrastructure and services in urban areas and territories to enable inclusive economic growth, improve quality of life, and strengthen sustainability and resilience. Exceptionally, this project will be managed by, the Ministério das Infraestruturas, Ordenamento do Território e Habitação (Components 1, 2 and 4.1) and Unidade de Gestão de Projetos Especiais (Components 3 and 4.2), being the Ministry responsible for the overall management of the project.
