The Special Projects Management Unit (UGPE) met this Wednesday, July 8, with the Secretary of State for Tourism, José Manuel Pimenta Lima, to present a status update on the implementation of the Resilient Tourism and Blue Economy Development Project.

The meeting was attended by UGPE Coordinator Nuno Gomes and Project Manager Vladimir Fonseca, who gave an overview of the main activities currently underway, addressing topics such as tenders, infrastructure, rehabilitation works, additional funding, technical assistance, and the main challenges of implementation.

On that occasion, the Secretary of State emphasized that this first meeting provided a comprehensive overview of the project and insight into the status of ongoing interventions, underscoring the importance of institutional coordination and the setting of priorities to accelerate the implementation of planned actions.
