The Integrated Project Coordination Center (CCIP) is the result of the restructuring and integration of the Special Projects Management Unit (UGPE) within the Ministry of Coordination of Special Projects and Access to Funds (MCPEAF).

The CCIP succeeds the former UGPE and now carries out its respective responsibilities within the new institutional structure. As a project structure operating under the Minister, the CCIP focuses on the integrated coordination and monitoring of structural projects, contributing to greater coordination, efficiency, and effectiveness in their implementation.

The creation of the CCIP is part of the new government architecture, which seeks to strengthen project coordination, the mobilization and management of resources, and the implementation of Cape Verde’s public development policies.
