Objetive

The Cape Verde Digital Project aims to accelerate Cape Verde's digital transformation and strengthen the foundations of digital competitiveness in order to improve public service delivery. Strengthen the foundations of Cape Verde's digital competitiveness and improve the provision of digital public services.

Description

This project is fully aligned with the country's vision, articulated in the Strategic Plan for Sustainable Development (PEDS), to become a hub for Africa, as well as to increase its digital capacity in the short and medium term to respond effectively to the COVID-19 emergency. It is in this context that the Government, within the Partnership Framework with the World Bank Group (WBG) (CPF), has mobilized a total of US$ 20,000,000 (twenty million US dollars) for its financing.
